Johane started his career at Chibuto FC in Mozambique. He scored 14 goals in 24 matches before sealing a move to Portugal top tier team Pacos Ferreira. At Pacos Johane scored 7 goals in 14 matches before being loaned out to FC Tondela in 2015-16 season. At the expiry of his loan period Johane returned to Chibuto where he scored an impressive 17 goals last season. This record attracted a lot of interest in leading clubs.
” I prefer to play in the Gulf, I will hold on as much as possible or move to a much more competitive league with more coverage to fulfill my dreams” said Johane when conducted by Joe Mhondiwa early in February. It is our custom to bring the best to our clients. Besides his eventual destination , Nkana FC, Red Arrows and Lusaka Dynamos were other leading clubs that made firm offers for the striker. Elsewhere the oldest club in the country (Highlanders) made a last minute audacious bid that couldn’t twist the player’s head. Maritzburg United and Bloemfontein Celtic were the South African teams that were also keen on the striker despite settling for other options.
For the few days that Johane has stayed at his new base, he wasted no time before scoring 3 goals in 3 friendly matches in preparation for the new season that’s kicking off this season. Napsa Stars emerged victorious in securing his services after offering a lucrative offer to last year’s golden boot winner in Mocambola League.
Johane joins a contingent of players managed by Joe Mart Sports and Events in that league such as Boston Muchindu, Moses Nyondo, Tafadzwa Rusike and Richard Kasonde
